How It Started
In 1991, Josef Janulík took the plunge into entrepreneurship and founded JAPO. The small company quickly grew into a rising transport business, expanding not only within the Czech Republic but also abroad. In 2002, Josef passed the reins of the company to his son Igor, who renamed it "JAPO-autodoprava s.r.o." In 2016, another name change occurred, this time to "JAPO - transport s.r.o." The company also moved to a modern facility in Popůvky near Brno, close to the D1 highway. In 2017, the neighboring premises were merged, giving the company additional storage capacity. Today, JAPO is one of the leading players in the Czech market in transport, storage, and logistics.
Company Premises
In the industrial zone of Popůvky near Brno, just minutes from the D1 highway, lies a modern 50,000 m² facility. This logistics center offers comprehensive amenities for storage, truck, and car parking. Our fleet benefits from a spacious parking area, and for all servicing needs, there's an authorized service center and a truck wash available. Convenient refueling is ensured by both internal and public fuel stations. Additionally, there are extensive storage spaces for pallets and fully equipped administrative facilities that keep the entire operation running smoothly.
Our Trucks
We have 155 low-deck trucks, 10 refrigerated trailers, 12 solo trucks weighing 3-5.5 tons, and 8 delivery vans. We provide transportation services for goods ranging from small shipments to full truckloads. We understand how important reliability is to our customers, which is why we regularly service all our vehicles, expand and innovate our fleet. For specific customer transportation requirements, such as explosives, chemicals, or other hazardous cargo, we meet the criteria for the transport of dangerous goods according to the ADR convention (excluding substances classified in groups 1 and 7).

This company was established as a continuation of the successful Czech firm JAPO - transport s.r.o., which has a long-standing tradition in European trucking and warehousing. The company owns 20 modern DAF trucks and has a logistics base in northern Italy, including extensive warehouse facilities. Whether you need to transport or store almost anything, we are ready to provide comprehensive services in Italy that will save you time and hassle.
