A fraudster is misusing the name of JAPO-transport. We warn against fake emails

JAPO-transport would like to inform its partners and the public about a serious case of identity theft. In recent days, an unknown perpetrator registered the domain japotranZport.cz (with a “Z” instead of an “S”) and is sending emails with fake transport service offers from this address.
These fraudulent messages are usually written in English, with a graphically professional signature that mimics the style used by our actual employees. They are often signed as “Ms. Matějková”, and the sender address typically appears as hanousek@japotranZport.cz.
The scammer aims to obtain a transport order and then send a truck with fake license plates to pick up goods, which are subsequently stolen and disappear.
“This is a very sophisticated and dangerous attempt to exploit the trust of our partners. We urge everyone to carefully check sender addresses and contact us immediately in case of any suspicion,” says the management of JAPO-transport.
